Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Senior Mechanical

Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design of rugged electro-optical systems from concept to production.

Mechanical design of complete systems, enclosures, mounts, brackets, and structural assemblies.
Integration of cameras, optics, electronics, compute units, connectors, harnesses, and electro-mechanical components.
Design for CNC-machined aluminum, stainless steel, sheet metal, and other manufacturing processes.
Design for harsh military and outdoor environments, including vibration, shock, temperature, humidity, corrosion, dust, and water ingress.
Mechanical integration on fixed, motorized, and maritime platforms.
Produce production-ready 3D models, drawings, tolerances, and assembly documentation.
Support prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and transition to serial production.
Work closely with hardware, systems, optics, thermal, and production teams.

B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience.
Excellent SolidWorks skills.
Strong experience with aluminum and stainless-steel design, CNC machining, sheet metal, tolerances, GD&T, sealing, and coatings.
Experience designing multidisciplinary products for harsh environments.
Experience taking designs from prototype to production.
Strong hands-on and problem-solving capabilities.

Senior Computer Vision Engineer (Real-Time Systems)

We're looking for a hands-on software developer with strong Python skills who enjoys shipping features, solving hard engineering problems, and making systems more reliable and scalable, to help build and evolve our core platform.

Embedded Hardware & System Integration Engineer

Pixel Sight is looking for a hands-on Embedded Hardware & System Integration Engineer to join our team and help build advanced electro-optical systems for real-world defense applications.

This is not an algorithms or board design. We are looking for someone who loves hardware, sensors, cameras, interfaces, suppliers, specs, debugging, and bringing complex systems from components to a reliable working product.

Select and evaluate hardware components for electro-optical systems.
Read and analyze datasheets, ICDs, application notes and supplier specifications.
Work directly with suppliers to understand technical capabilities, limitations, lead times and integration requirements.
Integrate cameras, sensors and other hardware with Edge computing platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson.
Work with interfaces such as MIPI/CSI, USB, Ethernet, GMSL/FPD-Link, UART, I2C, SPI, GPIO and CAN.
Perform hardware bring-up, lab testing and system debugging.
Debug real-world issues across hardware, power, communication, drivers, cabling, thermal behavior and system stability.
Define and execute component-level and system-level tests.
Build and maintain BOMs, wiring diagrams, integration notes and test procedures.
Support the transition from prototype to production and field deployment.

Strong hands-on experience with embedded hardware or system integration.
Experience integrating cameras, sensors, controllers or electro-optical systems.
Experience with NVIDIA Jetson or similar Edge/embedded computing platforms.
Ability to read technical specs and understand what will actually work in a real system.
Experience working directly with hardware suppliers and challenging technical claims.
Good understanding of power supplies, DC/DC converters, grounding, wiring and signal interfaces.
Strong lab/debug skills and the ability to solve practical integration problems.
Independent, hands-on, fast learner, and comfortable working in a startup environment.

Senior Applied Researcher - Computer Vision & AI

We're looking for a senior applied researcher to take ownership of a core domain — driving it from research through production.

Own a vision/AI domain end-to-end: from problem definition through research to integration in the live system
Develop new algorithms and improve existing ones, with measurable impact on system performance
Design and run experiments, analyze results, and iterate quickly
Work directly inside our production codebase, your research lands in the product

Systems Engineering Lead / System Owner

Pixel-Sight is looking for a Systems Engineering Lead to own the end-to-end technical execution of our hardware-software product.

This role is for someone who can turn complex technology — software, hardware, sensors, optics, edge compute, algorithms, power, and communication — into a reliable product that works in real field conditions.

You will be the system owner across architecture, integration, testing, releases, customer deployments, and field readiness. You will work closely with the CTO, engineering team, operations, and customer-facing teams to make sure the full system works as a product, not just as separate components.

Own end-to-end system integration across software, hardware, sensors, optics, edge compute, power, communication, and mechanical components.

Lead the technical execution plan, engineering priorities, release scopes, and system architecture in collaboration with the CTO and engineering team.

Define and manage release readiness across lab testing, field testing, customer demos, deployments, and production readiness.

Build and maintain testing, validation, configuration, logging, documentation, and root-cause analysis processes.

Coordinate engineering, algorithms, operations, and field teams to translate customer feedback into reliable product improvements.

7+ years of hands-on experience with multidisciplinary hardware-software systems and real-world field deployments.

Experience with cameras, imaging, electro-optics, sensors, or similar real-world sensing systems.

Proven track record leading system integration, testing, debugging, and release processes under customer pressure.

Strong system-level thinking with enough technical depth to challenge engineers across software, hardware, and system domains.

Hands-on, ownership-driven mindset with clear communication across engineering, operations, customers, and management.
